Lujiazui platform harnesses CIIE momentum to promote two-way trade
With fewer than 100 days to go before the ninth China International Import Expo opens, the Lu-Link Global Premium Consumer Goods Exhibition in Shanghai's Lujiazui has added new artworks and cultural and creative products to its product lineup.
The exhibition officially opened in mid-June. It is positioned as the first stop for overseas brands entering China, a hub for bringing CIIE exhibits to the wider market, and a destination for premium consumer experiences.
With its public-interest orientation, standardized booths, and centralized operations, the platform significantly reduces the costs and time required for overseas brands to test the Chinese market, enabling them to enter more efficiently and at lower cost.
Covering nine major consumption categories, including high-end home furnishings, outdoor sports, artworks and cultural and creative products, and smart technology, the platform supports cross-border bulk procurement, service trade, and brand development through offline experiences and online purchasing.
The platform will also establish a two-way trade channel, bringing premium goods from around the world to Chinese consumers while helping local specialty industries expand into overseas markets.
A year-round program of themed events, including wine and food festivals, fashion weeks, and coffee tastings, will continue to bring vitality to the venue.
