As a key event of the Shanghai Global Investment Promotion Conference, the 2025 Shanghai Culture and Tourism Investment Week will take place from March 30 to April 1, as announced at a municipal government news conference on March 20.

The event is expected to welcome about 100 leading culture and tourism enterprises and host multiple investment matchmaking sessions, showcasing Shanghai's economic vitality, innovation potential, urban appeal, and investment opportunities.

The initiative aims to establish Shanghai as a leading investment hub for tourism in the Asia-Pacific region.

Event highlights:

• Exhibition and investment: Held alongside Tourism Plus Shanghai, Asia's leading tourism industry trade show, this event will connect industry players across the value chain, fostering collaboration and turning exhibitors into investors.
• Themed investment sessions: With the tagline "Revitalizing existing assets, creating new growth", this event will feature three themed matchmaking sessions focusing on tourism operations, tourism equipment, and content innovation.
• Leading investors and enterprises: This event will bring together top investment funds, cultural tour operators, and hospitality groups. Over 90 leading investors and enterprises will participate, exploring trends such as new quality productive forces, immersive tourism, food and beverage innovation, and global expansion.

The Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism has refined policies and launched a business service platform to attract investment in culture and tourism.
