The 2026 FIBA 3x3 World Tour is scheduled for May 23 to 24 in Chongming district, Shanghai, featuring elite teams from various countries and regions, including China, Serbia, Germany, and Mongolia.

Amid intensifying qualification battles for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games, the Shanghai leg of the World Tour serves as a pivotal opportunity for teams to secure Olympic ranking points and establish an early-season advantage.

Since its induction into the Olympic programme, 3x3 basketball, FIBA's official urban discipline, has emerged as one of the fastest-growing and most competitive disciplines in global basketball.

During the 2026 season, China will host multiple World Tour stops, with events slated for Shanghai, Chengdu, Hong Kong, Macao, and Deqing county in Zhejiang province.

The inclusion of numerous top-tier teams is expected to showcase a diverse array of playing styles, heightening both the event’s global appeal and its competitive stakes.
