The Shanghai Shopping Festival has kicked off across the city. Shopping malls in the Hongqiao International Central Business District have launched food events, fashion pop-ups, and art markets throughout May to encourage consumer spending.

The "Shanghai Coin Bank" pop-up, created in collaboration with Zhiyang Project, features an immersive installation that has attracted large crowds for photos and limited-edition souvenirs.

The First Food Festival will bring together more than 100 food brands for a celebration of early-summer flavors, alongside interactive voting activities and surprise giveaways.

At the Floating Water Market, Shanghai's first floating marketplace, visitors can shop from boats along the canals while experiencing a blend of traditional waterfront culture and contemporary design.

The Fantastic Meeting features more than 60 plant and animal species across seven themed zones. The exhibition transforms the shopping center into an urban natural history museum, giving visitors a chance to experience wildlife without leaving the city.
