The grand finale of the X·TIME International Entrepreneurship Competition 2024 is set to unfold on Aug 28 and audience bookings have opened for fans. 

Hosted by the Administrative Committee of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Lin-gang Special Area, with Shanghai Bank as the chief partner and co-organized by Plug and Play China and Shanghai Lingang Economic Development (Group) Co ltd, the event is described by its organizers as more than just a competition. 

It's a passionate collision of global cutting-edge technology and Lin-gang's industrial planning. The goal is to discover, support and empower the entrepreneurial superstars who have the potential to shape the future.

Since March, nearly 500 tech innovation projects have signed up to compete. 

After tough competition in five major regions – Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Chengdu and Silicon Valley – 48 outstanding teams have emerged and advanced to the finals. 

They will engage in a showdown in Lin-gang Special Area of Shanghai, to vie for the top honor of the competition.

Audience members will have the opportunity to witness the top presentations of innovative projects in the finals, experience firsthand the cutting-edge appeal of the four new tracks: automotive electronics, critical software, artificial intelligence and integrated circuits.

They will take in face-to-face exchanges between top global venture capital folks, innovation leaders and entrepreneurial pioneers – and connect with local innovation resources and leading enterprises in the Lin-gang Special Area.
