The 4th "We Shine Together" Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit is set to take place on Sept 20 in the Huaxia Hall of the Shanghai International Convention Center.

Meanwhile, a series of innovation and entrepreneurship events will start in the city from Sept 20 to 23.

Career fair for elite overseas graduates

The event will feature a career fair for nearly 100 leading companies, universities and research institutions, where HR representatives will engage directly with job seekers to discuss their requirements and company culture. 

Thousands of returnees from world-renowned universities such as Cambridge University, Imperial College London, the London School of Economics and Political Science, Columbia University, Stanford University and the University of Chicago will participate.

The event includes experience sharing by overseas returnees, policy briefings, industry information sessions and face-to-face interactions for job seekers.

S-Tron Shanghai 2024

On Sept 20-21, S-Tron Shanghai 2024 – China's largest tech innovation event – will be held at Pavilion A of the West Bund Art Center in Shanghai. 

The event is expected to attract over 10,000 professional visitors and more than 1,500 investors.

The conference will feature over 150 industry leaders and experts covering such fields as the automotive and aerospace sectors, artificial intelligence, biopharmaceuticals, sustainable energy, advanced manufacturing and cultural entertainment.

According to the organizers, over 20 percent of participants will come from overseas. The two-day exhibition will boast more than 140 stands – including customized stands and startup booths, catering to the display needs of companies of various sizes.

Startup Bootcamp

This year, the elite entrepreneurship bootcamp will expand to accommodate 80 participants.

The event will also expand its partnerships to include concept verification centers, high-quality incubators and other channels – attracting tech innovation talent from various entrepreneurial projects.

Training content:

Courses and theme sharing by renowned investors, foreign experts and other industry professionals.

Opportunities to visit innovation hubs like the AI Innovation Hub and national incubators in the Lin-gang Special Area. 

One week after the training, the entrepreneurship foundation will organize a "closed-door matchmaking meeting" for promising startup projects, inviting well-known financial institutions and investors to participate.

The event will feature a core forum, a business enterprise display area and seven parallel innovation and entrepreneurship activities.
