Entrepreneurship park for returnee students signs agreement with incubation bases
A leading entrepreneurship park in Shanghai for returning overseas students has signed cooperation agreements with 16 top-tier incubation bases. The aim is to transform the park into a hub for such talent in Pudong New Area, a base for the commercialization of technological innovations and scientific research, and a springboard for turning returnees into successful entrepreneurs.
Established in 1996 in Pudong's Zhangjiang Science City, the Zhangjiang Entrepreneurship Park for Returning Overseas Students provides comprehensive entrepreneurial support and specialized services for overseas returnees and their businesses. In 2000, it was designated one of China's first National Overseas Students Entrepreneurship Parks. To date, the park has incubated 1,210 enterprises, with more than 40 achieving public listings. Over the past five years, the park has twice ranked first in evaluation of incubation bases among China's entrepreneurship parks for overseas students.
