Shanghai's Xuhui district has launched an innovative system designed to track and identify top AI talent worldwide. 

Launched at the 2024 Talent Summit of Innovation and Entrepreneurship on Nov 11, the global AI talent map model helps to quickly and accurately discover experts needed for specific projects and initiatives based on AI large-model technology.

Xuhui district also introduced its first entrepreneurs policy system at the event. 

The system addresses the most practical and pressing concerns for entrepreneurs, such as funding, platform development, and entrepreneurial ecosystem. 

Eligible entrepreneurial teams can receive up to 30 million yuan ($4.14 million) in funding support.

As a leading hub for technology and industrial innovation in Shanghai, Xuhui district has attracted nearly 900 AI companies, employing about 72,000 professionals, including nearly 500 world-leading scientists.
