Pudong New Area hosted its 2025 Chinese New Year's Concert for Talents at the Shanghai Oriental Art Center on Feb 10.

As a hallmark celebration in Pudong, the annual event honors exceptional individuals from various fields.

Over 1,800 outstanding talents from all walks of life attended the concert.

The concert featured performances by the Shanghai Opera House Symphony Orchestra, offering the audience a fusion of Eastern and Western orchestral pieces like Dance of the Golden Snake, Voices of Spring Waltz, My Chinese Heart, and Radetzky March.

In addition, the performances included What A Wonderful World and A Million Dreams by the chorus of the New York University Shanghai.

Home to more than 2 million skilled individuals, Pudong is committed to attracting top talents from around the world.

The district has implemented policies to nurture high-end talents across key industries, including technology, finance, shipping, law, culture, agriculture, education, and healthcare.

Pudong has also introduced measures to support international talents, becoming the first district in Shanghai to issue the Confirmation Letter for Foreign High-Level Talents.
