Putuo talent festival attracts global experts
The 6th Putuo Talent Festival kicked off at Top Central Park in Shanghai's Putuo district on Nov 30, marking the launch of the "TOP gravitational field" one-stop service center, which is designed to attract global talent.
In his address at the event, Zhao Yong, deputy secretary of the CPC Putuo district committee, emphasized the district's commitment to fostering an environment conducive to talent development, expanding international connections, and integrating global expertise.
By leveraging the Shanghai-Nanjing Industrial Innovation Belt, which involves the Putuo district and eight cities in East China's Jiangsu province, Putuo aims to efficiently connect the Yangtze River Delta's innovative resources, and focus on modern industries like bulk trade to synchronize talent structure and industrial growth, Zhao said.
The event marked the launch of the "TOP gravitational field" one-stop service center, a comprehensive platform offering end-to-end entry and exit services, full-cycle talent support and assistance in international expansion. This initiative represents a significant breakthrough in Putuo's efforts to establish a holistic talent service system to integrate multiple services and attract global talent.
This year, Putuo has been actively working to expand its international talent recruitment network. During the event, the district's talent work authorities signed a memorandum of understanding with Singapore Management University to focus on cross-border internships, talent innovation, and exchange programs, fostering a mutually beneficial relationship between international talent and Putuo's industrial growth.
The event concluded with the launch of the Putuo TOP talent cycling race, which saw over 150 participants, including representatives of international partners and local talent associations, highlighting the district's vibrant and collaborative talent ecosystem.
