More than 40 international students from over 20 leading universities worldwide participated in the University Campus Tour in Putuo on July 9 to explore local innovation, talent policies, and cultural life as part of a youth exchange program jointly organized by Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and the district's talent authorities.

The program combined site visits, policy briefings, and cultural activities to provide participants with a firsthand understanding of Putuo's industrial development, innovation ecosystem, and living environment.

The students visited the West Joy Apartment, innovative local enterprises, and the "Shanghai Talent+" regular roadshow hall to learn about career opportunities and entrepreneurship resources in Shanghai.

During the policy briefing, officials introduced Putuo's talent support measures, including housing assistance, startup incentives, the "Suhe" Talent Program, and digital talent services to support international professionals studying, working, and starting businesses in the district.

To help participants better understand local culture, the program also included an introductory Shanghai dialect language session focused on everyday communication.

The district plans to further enhance its talent support system and create more opportunities for young international talent to study, work, and innovate, thereby pursuing high-quality regional development.
