Pudong New Area advances waste sorting, recycling initiatives

Shanghai's Pudong New Area has achieved significant advancements in waste sorting and recycling initiatives in the current year, according to its ecological environment management authority.
So far this year, Pudong has established 116 convenient recycling service points, while also updating 586 waste disposal sites across the area, according to the Pudong New Area bureau of ecology and environment.
These convenient recycling service points allow residents to recycle materials easily and close to home.
