From the wondrous underground world to the mysteries of space, the Shanghai Children's Museum offers an exciting adventure for every curious mind that steps in. During their journey, the little ones will not only acquire valuable knowledge, but also have as much fun as they do at amusement parks.

Before you visit the underground world on the basement level, it is recommended that you buy the tickets for the ball screen films in advance, so you can go directly to the cinema after visiting the second floor. In the underground world, children have a chance to play the role of archaeologists and search for buried treasures.

Illuminated by blue lights, the sea-themed halls on the first floor immediately bring visitors to a mysterious underwater world. Here children can have a go on the ocean-going vessel simulator, and experience what it is like to be a boat captain. They will also be able to explore the museum's life-size submarine model.

"Travel in Space" and "Return to Earth", a pair of exhibition halls that introduce space travel and knowledge about planets, are situated on the second floor. With vivid videos and interactive models, space is no longer untouchable for these little explorers. Instead of giving a lecture about gravity, the museum allows children to stand on the weighing scale and check out how heavy they would be on different planets.

The third floor of the museum is built for special exhibitions. This summer holiday, a range of amazing activities are set to be in the area, seamlessly integrating science and fun.

While visiting, a cute alien named Gulu will be your guide. Children can see his funny images on maps and introductions, and they will find the tour much more interesting in the company of this playful friend.
