Originating from Stockholm, Fotografiska is an international destination for contemporary photography. Fotografiska Shanghai, nestled along the Suzhou Creek, opened in October 2023 as the fifth global venue after Stockholm, Tallinn, New York, and Berlin. Covering over 4,600 square meters, it continues the institution's mission to present world-class visual art and redefine the photography experience.

Since its opening, Fotografiska Shanghai has hosted over 40 major exhibitions by leading international artists while also supporting local talent with nearly 20 solo and group exhibitions by Asian artists.

Beyond the galleries, visitors can enjoy creative dining, cocktails, coffee, and ice cream throughout the venue.

The center is open seven days a week.

A new youth ticket has been introduced: anyone under 25 is eligible for discounted admission, with one ticket granting access to all concurrent exhibitions.
