Mao Er Rose Coffee
Located inside Fuxing Park, Mao Er Rose Coffee is about a 5-minute walk from the intersection of Huaihai Road and Sinan Road.
The cafe's name combines the words for "cat" (mao) and rose, and true to that inspiration, cat motifs appear throughout the space, adding a playful touch. Rose-themed decorations, such as hanging chandeliers shaped like rose clusters and rose-patterned trays, echo the French garden style of the surrounding park. Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows offer a picturesque view of the rose garden and plane trees, enhancing the cafe's charming vintage ambiance.
The cafe uses premium coffee beans and offers a selection of pour-over coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, and other drinks. For those with a sweet tooth, an array of desserts is available, with the cat-paw cake standing out as a particularly fitting choice.
Beyond coffee and sweets, the kitchen serves Western dishes including roast chicken, beef ribs, and a signature seafood platter, prepared with fresh ingredients and meticulous attention to detail.
