Covering 140.3 hectares, the park combines Eastern and Western garden art and offers beautiful lawns, greenery, and lakes.
Key attractions include the Century Flower Bell, a colourful landmark backed by Jingtian Lake, one of the largest artificial lakes in Shanghai, and an open-air music square, one of the largest amphitheatres in China.
Visitors can enjoy the Musical Fountain, a captivating display of sound, light, and water.
Shanghai Century Park will be open 24 hours a day starting May 1, 2024, and over 3,000 meters of its fencing will be removed.
As downtown Shanghai's largest free park, it will integrate with surrounding neighborhoods, creating a boundary-free environment for residents and visitors to enjoy leisurely strolls and a range of amenities.
