Fuxing Island Park, located in the middle of Fuxing Island in Yangpu district, covers an area of 4.19 hectares and it's the oldest park in the district.

After recent renovations, it is now a garden with a distinct Japanese style.

What's more, the park has a landscape composed of 3,359 trees and 71 species of shrubs, including cherry trees, osmanthus trees, and wisteria. Among them is a century-old camphor tree.

Attractions recommended nearby include:

1. Zhonghua Shipyard: Strolling along Gongqing Road, visitors can take in a strong retro industrial atmosphere with sights of old shipyards and factories. Of these, the most famous is the Zhonghua Shipyard, at the heart of China's naval modernization.

2. Dinghai Road Bridge: From the Dinghai Road Bridge, you can overlook the iconic chimney of the Yangshupu Power Plant, which was once the biggest thermal power plant in East Asia. Today, the century-old bridge continues to facilitate transportation between the Fuxing Island and the inland urban area.

3.Shanghai Fashion Center: Originally a cotton textiles factory, it has transformed into a modern hub for fashion, creativity and cultural exchanges. Combining industrial civilization with modern fashion, it stands as a landmark in Yangpu.
