On Jan 20, 2023, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Planning and Natural Resources jointly formulated Shanghai Special Plan for Commercial Space Layout (2022-2035) to provide guidance to the proper and orderly development of the city’s commercial space, centering on strengthening functions, amplifying capacity, promoting high-quality development and creating high-quality life.
