These regulations apply to the protection, administration and relevant activities of the intellectual property within the administrative areas of Shanghai, with a view of comprehensively strengthening intellectual property rights protection, stimulating the innovative and creative energy, promoting the establishment of Shanghai as a science and technology innovation hub and fostering a world-class business and innovation environment.
