Online job fair boosts employment in Changning

Shanghai's Changning district organized a live-streaming event on July 26 to attract talented individuals to work in the district.

The event attracted over 6,000 viewers. It was hosted by the Changning District Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security at the Shanghai Hongqiao One-Stop Service Center for Overseas Talents.

Throughout the event, 328 job opportunities from 17 key companies were showcased.

The goal is to make it easier for individuals to find jobs in Changning district by bringing together resources for employment.

Plans are for Changning to regularly showcase job opportunities, hold recruitment events, and organize special activities to help more talent and companies connect.

At the event, the organizers carefully matched talent with suitable employers. They highlighted foreign-funded enterprises, companies looking for skilled professionals to develop new quality productive forces, as well as those in new business models offering opportunities for young people to explore.

The event also introduced positions like overseas project managers, international logistics supervisors, and R&D engineers to meet diverse needs.

This event is part of a series of activities by Changning district to boost employment and entrepreneurship. So far this year, Changning district has organized over 30 live-streaming events to present job opportunities and explain policies, receiving over 25,000 views. This has led to employment for over 2,700 jobseekers.
