The Ministry of Commerce on Aug 23 released the first batch of national examples of "15-minute" convenient life circles.

Shanghai's Changning district was on the list of 20 cases.

Changning focuses on six major functions to build a convenient life circle, featuring an environment that is livable, business-friendly, campus-friendly, elderly-friendly, tourist-friendly, and shopping-friendly. 

The cases cited by the Ministry of Commerce reflect the continuing efforts nationwide in urban development to enhance the quality of life for residents and promote sustainable and convenient living environments.
