In a concerted effort to support international professionals, Changning district has established the Shanghai Hongqiao One-stop Service Center for Overseas Talents.

Opened in April, the center consolidates 35 administrative services and 30 lifestyle services tailored to the needs of expats.

Recently, Changning district introduced the "Gold Medal Helper" initiative to recognize outstanding service personnel.

Li Xia, a staff member at the Hongqiao one-stop service center, was honored for her exceptional contributions. With years of experience, Li excels in delivering comprehensive guidance and support.

One notable case involved Aine Kanzira, a pre-sales technical support engineer from Uganda, who sought assistance with his medical insurance card. Li guided him through the process and addressed his inquiries about housing funds and tax documents.

Her proactive approach and thorough recommendations for additional services left Kanzira impressed, as he praised Shanghai's efficiency.

Li Xia's commitment is said to exemplify the center's mission to cultivate a robust service team focused on facilitating the integration of overseas talent into the community.

By prioritizing services, the Hongqiao one-stop service center aims to welcome and support expats, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable transition.
