Changing district embraces CIIE with launch of consumer carnival
On Oct 30, Changning district in Shanghai launched the "Welcome CIIE Consumer Carnival" on Yuyuan Road, which marked the initiation of festivities embracing the 7th China International Import Expo.
As one of the core hosting areas for the CIIE, Changning district has consistently embraced and amplified the spillover effects of the expo.
At the event, Changning's trading service platform companies such as Gracina Life and Freshippo International, along with companies like Yamato Holdings, Unilever China, and Ingka Group, shared their experiences and achievements in participating in CIIE.
The "6 Days + 365 Days" initiative at the CIIE is understood to convert exhibits into commodities through measures like enhancing the year-round sales platform, establishing collaborative mechanisms for food registration and CCC compliance, and creating a product launch platform for the CIIE.
The Shanghai Cross-Border E-Commerce Industry Association, along with Freshippo International, Lemai Technology, Buy Quickly and Amazon China, launched a joint cross-border e-commerce initiative, aiming to help the CIIE's impact grow in Changning and boost the local economy with fresh energy.
Benefiting from its prime location and convenient transportation, Changning has become a hub for foreign businesses, creating a conducive environment for CIIE-related consumption.
During the 7th CIIE, over 40 companies from Changning are participating in six major exhibition areas, namely: consumer goods, foods and agricultural products, technical equipment, medical devices and healthcare, service trade, and automobiles.
