A group of international students paid a visit recently to the Shanghai Silicon Alley in Changning district, exploring how the rule of law system supports business and innovation.

At an innovation hub, the 35 students learned about the anti-fraud and tailored legal services offered to tech companies at an enterprise protection workstation.

During the tour, the students interacted with local innovators and learned about the legal services they enjoy.

They were also informed about the Silicon Alley "breakfast meetings", which gather tech companies, legal experts, financial institutions, scholars, and government representatives to discuss business development and intellectual property protection.

Lu Wenjie, a staff worker from the Huayang Road Subdistrict Business Office, shared a case study on the IP protection of China's first AAA game, Black Myth: Wukong, highlighting the positive role of the meetings.

The visit was part of the Discovering Rule of Law in China 2024 project, which is hosted by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange and organized by the East China University of Political Science and Law.
