NEST Space launches first Nordic home concept store
Shanghai residents can now experience premium Danish-designed furniture with a local touch. On Dec 9, NEST Space, a Danish design-led home brand manufactured in China, opened its first-ever Nordic home concept store at The Place, a shopping center in Shanghai's Changning district.
The store showcases thoughtfully designed living spaces tailored to various needs, from family homes to business environments. Featuring a mix of warm and vibrant color palettes, each furniture piece is not only functional but also an artwork.
NEST Space collaborates with Denmark's Noorum design team, using high-quality natural materials to create minimalist yet elegant designs. Supported by the advanced manufacturing capabilities of China's Trayton Group, every product reflects meticulous craftsmanship.
"We aim to help consumers realize their vision of an ideal home through warm and practical design solutions," said Simon Lichtenberg, founder of Trayton Group and chief executive officer of NEST Space.
He selected the Changning district for its excellent business environment and international appeal, citing its supportive policies and robust commercial network.
As a Danish entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in China, Lichtenberg has been instrumental in fostering Sino-foreign trade cooperation. He was honored with the Shanghai Magnolia Memorial Award in 2006 and the Magnolia Silver Award in 2019 for his contributions.
The opening of NEST Space's Nordic home concept store marks a significant milestone in international collaboration and quality-driven development. The brand plans to expand globally, leveraging China's manufacturing expertise and Denmark's design aesthetics.
