Changning establishes association for friendship with foreign countries

The Changning District People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries held its founding meeting in Shanghai on Dec 11.

Chen Jing, president of the Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, congratulated Changning district for setting up the friendship association and emphasized the district's role in global diplomacy.

Chen mentioned the importance of improving the coordination of civilian diplomatic work, creating a distinctive approach to diplomacy that showcases Changning's identity, and maximizing Changning's reputation in international engagements.

Lu Hao was elected the president of the Changning District People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. He vowed to enhance international cooperation in trade, industry, talent services, and cultural exchanges to build bridges for practical collaboration and expand global connections.

During the meeting, the participants looked back on the exciting moments of Changning district's international exchanges in 2024 and shared the association's international cooperation and exchange projects for 2025.

The Changning District People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries currently has 59 members, including people from influential businesses and individuals dedicated to promoting international friendship across various sectors.
