Smart manufacturing comes into focus at Hongqiao salon
The 15th edition of the "Discover Changning: Hongqiao Afternoon Tea" salon — held in Changning district of Shanghai — wrapped up the year on Dec 19, attracting over 40 industrial internet enterprises.
These companies harness the power of the industrial internet of things to optimize industrial processes and operations.
Co-hosted by Hongqiao subdistrict and several industrial associations, the salon aimed to promote collaboration across key sectors such as artificial intelligence, financial services, and the industrial internet.
Xuan Xiufang, deputy general manager of Zhongke SOA, applauded the salon for connecting enterprises with potential partners, noting that it broadened their perspectives and opened opportunities for mutual growth in aerospace and AI.
Fan Hong, the organizer of the salon and secretary-general of the Manufacturing System Integration Sub-Association of China, highlighted the role of the salon series in fostering networking opportunities between businesses and government authorities.
"Through these conversations, we align enterprise needs with regional development goals, driving industrial growth and economic synergy," she said.
Changning, known for being a trailblazer in digital innovation, has been building its "Digital Changning" brand since 2001, establishing the digital economy as the district's biggest sector.
