UK diplomat visits Changning's overseas talent service center

Alan Bryson, British deputy consul-general in Shanghai, recently visited the Shanghai Hongqiao One-stop Service Center for Overseas Talents in Changning district.

During the visit, Bryson and his delegation explored the center's role as Shanghai's first district-level international service hub, which offers streamlined support for overseas professionals.

The center addresses a wide range of needs, providing 35 government services and 30 daily life services through a fully integrated platform. It also offers seven specialized services tailored for international talent, all housed within a comprehensive 11,000-square-meter facility.

Bryson received a detailed briefing on the center's facilities, including assistance with housing, lifestyle, entertainment, legal matters, and financial services.

The delegation toured key areas, such as the Entry and Exit Service Windows, the Exclusive Service Area for World-class Talents, the Yangtze River Delta Overseas Talent Service Shared Space, and the Financial Service Areas for Overseas Talents. They also expressed great interest in the center's online service platform.

Praising the center's comprehensive services and its innovative approach, Bryson expressed excitement about future collaborations and pledged to promote the center to British expats in Shanghai.
