Changning supports jobseekers through airport-based vocational training

Shanghai's Changning district recently launched the city's first airport-based vocational training program at the "15-minute employment service spot" in Terminal 1 of Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport.
The program aims to assist jobseekers, particularly migrant workers, by providing specialized vocational training and employment services.
These services include access to job listings, personalized skills training, internship opportunities with airlines, and assistance with policy consultations and job matching.
The initiative is the result of collaborations with key partners such as the Changning district administration of human resources and social security, Chengjiaqiao subdistrict, Xiamen Airlines, and Hongqiao Airport.
Changning has established a total of 17 similar service spots, which have benefited thousands of individuals through specialized recruitment and entrepreneurship guidance sessions.
This airport-based employment service model has already expanded to include partnerships with other airlines such as China Eastern Airlines and Spring Airlines.
