Pet&Fresh, a new pet food retail brand, has opened its first store in Shanghai's Changning district.

The 200-square-meter store is designed to be pet-friendly, with distinct areas for fresh food preparation, product selection, and social interaction. This setup allows pets to explore while owners shop for essentials like food, cat litter, and toys.

The fresh food section offers raw meaty bones, meals, handmade pastries, and baked treats, all prepared on-site. The refrigerated section features fresh foods with simple ingredient lists, while over 300 bulk snacks are available for custom selection.

Pet&Fresh emphasizes fresh ingredients and scientific formulas, avoiding single-puffed grains and industrial additives. Ingredients are sourced from traceable supply chains and quality-controlled at a central kitchen before being delivered via a cold chain.

For those unable to visit in person, the store provides a 3-kilometer half-day delivery service. Additionally, the on-demand service platform Meituan offers a 30-minute express delivery option.
