At a conference on March 19, the Changning district commission of commerce, the development office of East Hongqiao, Ingka Centres, and Alibaba.com signed agreements to jointly build the zone, emphasizing comprehensive support for enterprises venturing into international markets.

Known for its strengths in the digital and headquarters economies, Changning district is facilitating the global expansion of Chinese firms and the entry of foreign companies into the Chinese market. By offering premium services, it assists businesses in overcoming challenges and expanding overseas.

Efforts are underway to establish the Enterprise Overseas Headquarters Agglomeration Zone, which will integrate industrial clusters, aviation logistics, overseas operations, and professional services.

Through strategic partnerships with Alibaba and Ingka Group, a "going-out" service platform is being developed to enhance the zone's capabilities.

The conference brought together representatives from government departments, companies, universities and research institutes to explore the latest trends in digital cross-border trade, with experts discussing topics like digital commerce, artificial intelligence, and big data models.

The event also featured the Alibaba International Station East China Region Talent Finals.
