Changning's cutting-edge tech steals spotlight at 2025 WAIC

The 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, held in Shanghai from July 26 to 28, brought together global leaders and showcased cutting-edge technologies in the AI sector.

Several enterprises from Changning showcased transformative technologies that highlight AI's role in advancing next-generation logistics, manufacturing, and robotics.

Eight-time exhibitor Westwell presented three major AI advancements: the debut of the Q-Tractor P40 Plus, an upgraded new energy autonomous tractor; Hymala, a multi-modal logistics foundation model matrix designed to streamline complex freight networks; and the latest commercialization progress of its flagship autonomous heavy-duty vehicle, the Q-Truck.

The Changning-based startup Hi-Dolphine, known for its robot cafe solutions, unveiled the sixth generation of the COFE+ robotic coffee machine at WAIC 2025. This new model boasts high levels of automation, customizable settings, and rapid brewing, delivering freshly brewed coffee in just 50 seconds.

With its bionic robotics headquarters in Changning district, Zhongjian Technology unveiled its latest quadruped robot, engineered for high payload capacity, extended battery life, and exceptional adaptability in complex scenarios. The robot can be equipped with a variety of sensors to support tasks such as facility inspection, emergency response, and other operations in high-risk environments.

As a co-host, strategic partner, and exhibitor, iFlytek played a key role in shaping this year's WAIC. The company presented its latest advancements in large language models, including the Spark LLM, along with industry-specific applications and multilingual services, further showcasing China's progress in AI.
