Changning deepens ties with global talent

Shanghai's Changning district held a talent exchange event on July 31, providing overseas students with an opportunity to explore local innovation and entrepreneurship.

More than 40 students and faculty members from renowned universities, including Johns Hopkins University and the University of Southern California, took part in the event, which featured site visits and policy briefings.

Participants visited the Shanghai Hongqiao One-Stop Service Center for Overseas Talents to learn about its streamlined government services and expat-friendly support.  They also gained in-depth insights into Changning's industrial development, talent policies, and career opportunities.

On Aug 2, Changning partnered with more than 30 leading enterprises to host a recruitment fair. More than 500 international students attended the fair, engaging in one-on-one interviews with top employers such as Bosch, Unilever, China Eastern Airlines, and Ctrip.

By offering favorable policies, diverse engagement platforms, and human-centered services, Changning is emerging as a hub for international professionals, supporting Shanghai's vision to become a globally competitive center for innovation and entrepreneurship.
