Embrace Shanghai's golden season
As the wind scatters autumn light like shattered gold, Shanghai enters the season of golden rain trees. This ornamental tree, a familiar sight across the city, now shines in full glory. Here are some top spots to enjoy its autumn splendor.
Taolin Road Overpass at Middle Yanggao Road
Both staircases at the ends of the overpass are covered with tiny golden flowers, offering a perfect view for photographing the iconic Lujiazui skyline.
Changping Road
Stretching 1.7 kilometers through Jing'an district, Changping Road is adorned with approximately 470 lush Chinese lantern trees. Their golden blooms cluster on the branches like a sky full of twinkling stars.
Dabaishu metro station
The station features east and west platforms. Owing to differences in sunlight, the golden rain trees on each side grow in unique forms, each radiating its own charm.
