Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District, in collaboration with Changning district, launched an action plan on Oct 30 to accelerate the development of a cluster of Hongqiao-based enterprises seeking to expand their global presence.

This new initiative aims to provide integrated support for enterprises seeking to go global through strategic planning, policy backing, ecosystem development, and resource integration.

A central feature of the plan is the establishment of the "Hongqiao Enterprises Going Global Professional Service Alliance", which combines administrative services with market-oriented professional support. The alliance has introduced a "10+10" service matrix and a "15-minute service circle" to ensure businesses have comprehensive assistance as they enter global markets. To align with regional integration strategies, the cluster will also serve the Yangtze River Delta region, offering support for both foreign investment and the international expansion of local businesses

Looking ahead, Changning plans to establish a leading headquarters zone for enterprises looking to strengthen their global footprint, creating a one-stop platform for firms to access global opportunities and enhance their global resource allocation and risk management capabilities, positioning it as a key hub for international business.
