From late December through March 2026, Shanghai's Changning district is celebrating the new year with a festive shopping season. Spanning the New Year's Day, Spring Festival, and Lantern Festival, the programme brings together more than 50 major events and themed segments, ranging from large-scale exhibitions and pop-up activities to winter markets, ice sports, and night-time light displays, offering a wide variety of ways to experience Shanghai's festive atmosphere.

Changning's major shopping centers are hosting a variety of seasonal promotions, arts and retail attractions:
