Changning-based Inceptio Technology — an autonomous driving technology developer for heavy-duty trucks — drew attention at the symposium of the China-Germany Economic Advisory Committee in Beijing, where its founder and CEO Ma Zheren joined industry leaders from both countries to discuss cooperation in the automotive and logistics sectors.

Founded in 2018 in Shanghai's Changning district, Inceptio Technology focuses on the development and commercialization of full-stack autonomous driving technology for heavy-duty trucks. The company has built core capabilities across software, hardware, and data systems to support the large-scale deployment of intelligent trucking solutions.

To date, its autonomous trucking system has logged more than 500 million kilometers in commercial operations, with mass-produced vehicles already running on major logistics routes in China.

As part of its global expansion strategy, Inceptio established a representative office in Germany in 2024, and is working with partners across the commercial vehicle, logistics, and autonomous driving ecosystem to advance autonomous trucking projects in Europe.
