Shanghai's Changning district launched a new talent service station in the Tianshan commercial area on March 20, creating a one-stop hub to better support domestic and international professionals.

The station integrates a wide range of functions, including talent services, project roadshows, maker spaces, and meeting and networking facilities. It forms part of Changning's broader effort to build a comprehensive talent ecosystem, anchored by a "1+N" talent service network centered on a flagship one-stop service center and supported by multiple service sites, to enhance accessibility and convenience for high-level talent.

Beyond its core services, the station also serves as a platform for alumni associations and talent communities, fostering closer ties between universities, alumni, and local development.

A dedicated innovation and entrepreneurship space has also been introduced, providing a venue for startup pitching, competitions, and project promotion. Services such as applications for foreigners' work permits in China are now available on-site, enabling nearby professionals to submit materials without traveling far and signaling a shift toward more efficient and localized talent services.
