Products from Changning brands selected for 2026 'Fashion Shanghai' list
Three products from three Changning-based brands — CHICJOC, MEJJY and Fabrique — have been selected for the 2026 "Fashion Shanghai" list.
CHICJOC's alpaca classic double-breasted coat was selected in the business wear category, MEJJY's "zero-pressure" customized men's suit in the bespoke category, and Fabrique's "White Moonlight" embroidery collection in the casualwear category.
Changning is a core area for coordinated municipal-district development of Shanghai's fashion consumer industry and a demonstration area for global product launches. It capitalizes on the advantages of the Hongqiao Fashion and Creative Industry Cluster and the strong talent pool of Donghua University, a Chinese university known for its strengths in fashion and textiles. The district is now home to more than 200 fashion and consumer brands.
This year, Changning launched a three-year action plan for 2026-28 to further develop its fashion consumer industry. The plan focuses on strengthening the "Fashion Changning" brand, improving industry-chain collaboration, attracting and nurturing businesses and talent, creating new consumption scenarios, and strengthening support for industrial development.
CHICJOC
CHICJOC centers on a 'minimalist luxury' aesthetic, combining premium fabrics with structural design and clean silhouettes. The selected coat is presented as a representative expression of this approach.
