Hongqiao records its first data-product IP registration for global expansion

Agentic Engine, an AI agent platform developed by Changning-based data intelligence company ThinkingAI, has completed data product intellectual property registration and evidence preservation, marking the first such case in the Hongqiao International Central Business District involving an application designed for global expansion.
As AI products accelerate their global expansion, risks around confirming data ownership are growing. The registration extends Changning's data-product intellectual property protection services to the AI agent sector and provides a new practical example for digital companies going global.
ThinkingAI has worked in the data sector for more than a decade, serving over 1,500 companies and 8,000 products worldwide and building experience in enterprise data analysis and business growth.
Changning's market supervision administration identified the company's needs during visits to key data companies and, in collaboration with the district’s data bureau and the cyberspace administration, helped ThinkingAI structure its data product, clarify data boundaries, and standardize application materials, completing the registration in one month.
The district has also established a one-stop service covering policy briefings, needs assessment, data product IP registration, and assistance with overseas IP protection. It will continue to support registration services, overseas IP risk alerts, and responses to foreign-related disputes.
