Jinmao Tower is located in the centre of the Lujiazui area in Shanghai and overlooks the famous Bund across the river.
This 88-storey building was the tallest in the city when it was completed. Resembling a Chinese pagoda, the tower features a unique mix of modern and traditional architectural elements.
At more than 420 metres in height, the tower has an observation deck on the 88th floor. It is an ideal spot to take in panoramic views of the international metropolis.
Two high-speed elevators can ascend at 9.1 metres per second and launch tourists from below street level to the 88th floor in only 45 seconds.
