Fast Pass
Service overview: This service enables eligible foreign talent working in Shanghai to apply for the Fast Pass for salary exchange (converting renminbi salary into foreign currency) and remittance.

Eligibility
Applicants whose work meets the needs of China's economic and social development and who specialize in fields that are urgently needed in China. Applicants must also receive remuneration from lawful employment in Shanghai.
Required documents
1. First-time application for expats holding a Foreigner's Work Permit in China
- Fast Pass on Foreign Talents Remuneration Foreign Exchange form;
- Valid work-type residence permit: residence permit information page and entry stamp page;
- Additional materials as required by the accepting authority.
2. First-time application for R visa holders (foreign high-level talent)
- Passport information page and entry stamp page for R visa holders;
- Copy of the Confirmation Letter for High-Level Foreign Talent;
- Proof of income;
- Fast Pass on Foreign Talents Remuneration Foreign Exchange form;
- Additional materials as required by the accepting authority.
3. Change of information (employer/salary change)
- Fast Pass on Foreign Talents Remuneration Foreign Exchange form (previous form);
- Fast Pass on Foreign Talents Remuneration Foreign Exchange form (new);
- Additional materials as required by the accepting authority.
Online registration
① Application by the employer
The employer logs in to the Shanghai Foreigner's Work in China Services System and enters the employer's Unified Social Credit Code or Organization Code, employer name and mobile phone number for verification and login.
After selecting the designated staff member and verifying the mobile number, proceed to the operation page and click "Fast Pass for Foreign Talent Salary Exchange and Remittance (Application)".
Enter the valid work permit number held by the foreign talent for verification, fill out the Fast Pass on Foreign Talents Remuneration Foreign Exchange form, download and print it double-sided on a single sheet of paper, have it signed by the applicant and stamped with the employer's official seal, then upload it back to the system.
It is not necessary to wait for the preliminary review result. The designated staff member or the foreign talent must bring the original documents directly to the relevant accepting authority.
② Application by the foreign talent
(1) The employer authorizes the application. The designated staff member logs in to the Shanghai Foreigner's Work in China Services System and enters the employer's Unified Social Credit Code or Organization Code, employer name, and mobile phone number for verification and login.
After selecting the designated staff member and verifying the mobile number, go to the operation page and click "Fast Pass for Foreign Talent Salary Exchange and Remittance (Application)".
Enter the foreign talent's valid work permit number for verification. After successful verification, click the authorization button to authorize the foreign talent for the requested service.
(2) The foreign talent then logs into the personal service page of the Shanghai Foreigner's Work in China Services System, enters the employer's Unified Social Credit Code or Organization Code, employer name, name, and work permit number for verification.
After logging in, click "Create New Salary Exchange Application", fill out the Fast Pass on Foreign Talents Remuneration Foreign Exchange form, download and print it double-sided on a single sheet of paper, sign it, have it stamped with the employer's official seal, and upload it back to the system.
It is not necessary to wait for the preliminary review result. The foreign talent must bring the original supporting documents directly to the relevant accepting authority.
