Baromon, Lao Feng Xiang open first joint customization store
Baromon and Lao Feng Xiang, two time-honored Chinese heritage brands, have unveiled their first co-branded custom store in Aroma Garden in Shanghai's Huangpu district, with trial operations starting on Sept 22.
Baromon, a Chinese tailoring brand founded in 1928, is renowned for its Fengbang tailoring technique, recognized as a national-level intangible cultural heritage item.
Lao Feng Xiang, which began as a silver workshop in 1848, has preserved and developed traditional Chinese gold and silver craftsmanship for generations.
The store offers a comprehensive shopping experience, including clothing and accessories, along with a range of customization services. Customers can explore and try on items in person while using 3D body measurements and AI-powered virtual try-on technology to preview their customized designs.
The following custom services are available:
- Gold and silver craftsmanship: Lao Feng Xiang's dedicated custom workshop offers this service, led by Chinese arts and crafts master Shen Guoxing.
- Custom clothing: Customers can order personalized pieces, including qipao and suits.
- Corporate gifts: Custom-made gifts are available for a range of purposes, including business occasions, commemorative events, and personal collections.
- Custom watches: Businesses can order personalized high-end watches for corporate use or gifting.
During the trial period, the store is offering limited-time discounts. Baromon ready-to-wear clothing is 30 percent off, while custom-made clothing is 15 percent off. Lao Feng Xiang watches and eyewear are also 15 percent off, as is silver jewelry. Customers who spend 5,000 yuan ($745.96) or more on gold and silver jewelry will receive an additional 5 percent discount on clothing purchases.
