Guide to F1H2O World Championship Grand Prix in Shanghai

The F1H2O World Championship will make a return to Shanghai after two decades, promising an exhilarating spectacle.

From Oct 4 to 6, this prestigious international powerboat racing competition will see nine top-tier teams and 19 elite racers from 13 countries vying for victory at the Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal.

Spectators will have the chance to witness fearless racers accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just three seconds, with a top speed of 266 km/h.

Established by the Union Internationale Motonautique in 1981, the F1H2O World Championship is an international Class-A sporting event, featuring eight races worldwide annually, making it the most prestigious urban landscape powerboat racing event.

Tickets and admission:

- One ticket per day per ID, maximum of six tickets per order.

- Bring your ID for entry.

- Tickets will not be available for purchase on the day of the event.

- Early admission is recommended to avoid long lines at security.

- The limits of entry and exit are as follows:

- Oct 4: three entries and exits allowed on the same day

- Oct 5: three entries and exits allowed on the same day

- Oct 6: two entrances and exits allowed on the same day

*Three-day tickets and single-day tickets have the same entry/exit limits on a given day.

- Any baggage exceeding 50 cm x 36 cm in size is not allowed (on-site storage is not available).

In addition to the powerboat racing, spectators can also enjoy a carnival at Lingdian Plaza on No 1 Baoyang Road in Baoshan district from Oct 1 to 6, featuring entertainment and cultural events.
