Course highlights
Jinshan sits at Shanghai's southwestern edge along the coast, home to one of the most picturesque ecological shorelines in the Yangtze River Delta region. The course follows the Shanghai-Hangzhou Highway, widely regarded as Jinshan's most beautiful coastal road. To the right, the seawall stretches into the distance; to the left, Hangzhou Bay shimmers in the morning light. By the time the race starts, the sun has already risen above the horizon, casting a golden shimmer across the water.
Runners set off from Phoenix City and soon enter Jinshanzui Fishing Village, a national AAAA scenic area. Along the route, there are no metal barriers — only traditional fishermen's homes, a fishing gear museum, and racks of fish drying in the open air. This is not an industrial waterfront, but rather the living heart of a fishing port with more than a thousand years of history.
