The 2026 World Snooker Shanghai Masters will take place from July 27 to Aug 2 at Luwan Indoor Stadium. Tickets went on sale at noon on June 24.

First staged in Shanghai in 2007, the tournament has grown alongside the rise of Chinese snooker over the past two decades.

A redesigned trophy has been unveiled to mark the tournament's 20th anniversary. Its design incorporates elements inspired by the snooker triangular, the curves of the Huangpu River, and Shanghai's city flower, the white magnolia.

1. Player lineup

As the first event of the 2026/27 season to be held in China and the country's only invitational tournament of the season, the Shanghai Masters will bring together the world's top players.

The lineup includes world No 1 Judd Trump, Ronnie O'Sullivan, John Higgins, Mark Selby, and defending champion Kyren Wilson. Nine Chinese players, excluding wildcard entrants, have secured places in the tournament. They include world No 3 Zhao Xintong, world No 4 Wu Yize, and China's snooker star Ding Junhui.

Ticket packages

In addition to single-session tickets, the tournament will offer several ticket packages, giving fans greater flexibility and a richer viewing experience.

(1) General seating: Zones S, A, and B

• S+ Mystery Box: This package offers seats in rows 1 to 6 of Zone S. Buyers receive one entry in an on-site prize draw, with prizes including admission to a meet-and-greet with champion and runner-up or a signed player photo.
• Afternoon-and-Evening Pass: This package combines Zone A tickets for the afternoon and evening sessions on the same day. It is available for July 27 on Table 2, July 28 on Tables 1 and 2, and July 29 on Table 2. The afternoon-session ticket included in the package is offered at a 15 percent discount.
• Shanghai Masters x CBL Combo: This package includes a Zone A ticket for the evening session on July 27 and a grandstand ticket for a China Billiard Sports Clubs Professional League match on the evening of July 25. The combined package price is offered at a 10 percent discount.

(2) Premium seating (VIP zones)

• VIP Club: This full-event VIP1 pass covers all sessions on Table 1 and includes front-row seating, access to the official welcome reception on July 26, a radio receiver for live commentary, and an official commemorative booklet.
• VIP Experience Package: This package offers two VIP1 tickets for the evening session on any one day from July 27 to 30. It includes one night's accommodation at a five-star hotel on the match date, an official souvenir, a radio receiver for live commentary, an official commemorative booklet, and a chance to win entry to a meet-and-greet with Ronnie O'Sullivan.
• Masters Experience Package: This three-day VIP1 package covers the semifinals on July 31 and Aug 1, and the final on Aug 2. It includes premium seating for all three days, two nights' accommodation at the official hotel on Aug 1 and 2, an official souvenir, a radio receiver for live commentary, an official commemorative booklet, and admission to a post-final meet-and-greet with the champion and runner-up on Aug 2.
• Premier Box: This package offers front-row box seats from July 27 to 30 and seats in the first two rows of the box section from July 31 to Aug 2. It includes a pre-match access to the center of the arena for a photo with the tournament's new trophy, a framed print of the photo, and a radio receiver for live commentary.
• Buy One, Get One Half-Price: This offer applies to VIP1, Box, and Chairman's Stand tickets for selected sessions: the morning sessions of July 27 on Tables 1 and 2, the afternoon session of July 27 on Table 2, and the morning sessions of July 28 on Tables 1 and 2. When two tickets are purchased for the same session and the same seating category, the second ticket is available at half price.

Tickets are available through the Juss Sports app, as well as its mini programs on WeChat and Alipay.

Important notes

• All tickets are electronic. Each attendee must have their own ticket, and children must also purchase full-price tickets.
• Real-name registration is required. Please provide the attendee's full name, valid ID number, and phone number.
• Each phone number may purchase up to four tickets per session. Each ID can purchase only one ticket per session.
• Unpaid orders will be automatically canceled. Please complete payment within the designated time.
• Tickets cannot be exchanged, resold, or transferred.

Refund policy

(1) Masters Experience Package

• Cancellations made before midnight on July 9 will be subject to a 5 percent handling fee. Refunds will be processed within seven working days.
• Cancellations made from July 10 onward are not accepted.

(2) VIP Experience Package & Masters x League Combo

• Cancellations made before midnight on July 19 will be subject to a 5 percent handling fee. Refunds will be processed within seven working days.
• Cancellations made from July 20 onward are not accepted.

(3) VIP Club

• Non-refundable from the date of purchase.

(4) All other tickets

• Cancellations made before noon on July 26 will be subject to a 5 percent handling fee. Refunds will be processed within seven working days.
• Cancellations made between noon on July 26 and noon on the day before the session will be subject to a 20 percent handling fee.
• Cancellations made after noon on the day before the session are not accepted.
