Registration is now open for the Sinar Mas Plaza leg of the Towerrunning Grand Prix Shanghai, which will take place on Oct 18.

Event highlights

• Runners will climb 66 floors and 1,763 steps to reach a height of 320 meters, taking on one of Shanghai's tallest towers.
• After the race, runners can enjoy panoramic views of Shanghai's skyline from The Stage observation deck at Sinar Mas Plaza.
• Water and medical stations will be set up on the 20th, 34th, 51st, and 66th floors.
• Runners who complete the climb will receive a Sinar Mas Plaza commemorative medal marking the 66 floors and every step along the way.

Categories

Individual: 250 men and 150 women

Team: 20 teams of four. The team with the shortest combined time across all four members wins.

Registration deadline: Oct 10, or until capacity is reached

Fees: 59 yuan ($8.81) per person for the individual category; 199 yuan per team

Race pack: Drawstring bag, event T-shirt, and bib with timing chip
