The Fourth Tai Chi Chuan Competition for International Students in Shanghai is on its way! If you are passionate about Chinese traditional culture and eager to explore the art of tai chi, don’t miss it.

Tentative date: Saturday, June 7, 2025

Venue: Gymnasium, Baoshan campus, Shanghai University

Competition categories

• Team competition: Teams consisting of six to 10 members representing different universities.
• Individual competition: Participants can choose from events such as Tai Chi Sword, Tai Chi Staff, 24-Form Tai Chi, and other related disciplines. Each participant is limited to registering for one event.

Participants can join both team and individual competitions.

Performance duration: three to five minutes per event.

Awards

• Each event will feature the following awards:
• First prize: One winner
• Second prize: Two winners
• Third prize: Three winners
• Honorable mentions: Several recipients
