Q: I am an international student planning to apply for a master's degree in Shanghai and would like to clarify one point regarding the Shanghai Government Scholarship.

Is an applicant allowed to submit applications for the Shanghai Government Scholarship (Type A) to more than one participating university during the same admission year?

If submitting multiple SGS applications is permitted, must the applicant accept only one scholarship offer if selected by more than one university?

A: Please note that, in the same academic year, you may submit your applications to multiple universities simultaneously.

However, if you are admitted by more than one university, you may only accept one scholarship.  You cannot accept more than one scholarship.
