WAIC forum to discuss how large models shape industrial new order
As a key part of the 2025 World AI Conference, the Forum on Shaping Global Industrial New Order with Large Models will be held in Shanghai's Xuhui district on July 28. The event will delve into the technological evolution and innovative applications of large models, exploring their profound impact on industrial transformation.
Distinguished guests from leading institutions and enterprises, including the British Standards Institution, China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, and Ant Group, will gather at the forum. Together, they will discuss trends, standardization, and governance in the large model industry, while outlining blueprints from the perspectives of technical breakthroughs, scenario-based applications, and security systems.
Amid the global surge of open-source large models, the security of scaled AI deployment becomes increasingly vital. In response, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, in partnership with over 10 institutions such as UNIDO, BSI, and Shanghai AI Laboratory, will launch an initiative focused on promoting the safe and sustainable development of the open-source large model ecosystem.
The forum will also showcase a collection of benchmark "AI+" cases, demonstrating the cutting-edge achievements in the deep integration of AI across various industries. These cases will highlight replicable technological pathways and business models, offering valuable references for industrial upgrading.
A roundtable symposium, centered on the practical application and iteration of large models, will be another key feature. Bringing together experts from sectors like healthcare, industry, media, and scientific research, the symposium aims to align the advancement of large model technologies with the evolving demands of various industries.
